Some Nonsense to Kickstart Things

September 7, 2009

I knew it was going to take something big to raise my ire and get me blogging again. Well here it is, and though I’d love to think this was a joke, but I couldn’t be sure.

After last year’s wonderful rapture triggered email, I learned that there is no sounding the depths of the gullibility of Christians. And I don’t have to try hard to imagine the entrepreneurial atheists behind this one laughing like godless hyenas at those compassionate, pet-loving brothers and sisters willing to part with their cash. Congratulations are due to those who refused to baulk at the improbability of people paying for this service.

I really don’t think it is a joke! moving from disbelief to amusement, the more I think about it actually the sadder it is and it makes me cross (although I’m not sure why) there’s something sooo wrong and it’s hard to know where to start. Great post to start back with Glenn 🙂

  2. Who would you get cross with? Atheists finally finding a way of profitting from the well of witlessness that our so-called brothers in Christ, La Haye etc have been pumping from?

  3. I take my hat off to the atheists – brilliant opportunism.

Cross that Christianity can be viewed as so insignificant and petty, and cross that people can so openly and deliberately take advantage of others no matter what they believe in.

    It must be a joke!

    Come on!
